WWII GERMAN BERLIN OLYMPIC PARTICIPATION MEDAL
1936 WWII German Berlin Olympics participation medal designed by O. Placzek. 2 3/4 inch diameter. Five athlete designs to obverse pulling the five strings to the Olympic bell with "XI" "OLYMPIADE" "BERLIN" "1936" marked. Reverse shows Olympic bell with German eagle to center with words etched surrounded by five rings. Otto Paczek marked to outer ring. 358 etched on rim. 2 3/4 inch diameter.
