Condition: This is in excellent condition. Van Gogh. Includes Letter of Authenticity. 95 in the edition. Approx 26 x 30 inches. The signature is in the plate. In a short period of time Van Gogh (1853-1890) painted over 900 paintings in ten years. The Starry Night is his most famous piece of work, which he created while in an asylum in France. Vincent Van Gogh did not cut off his ear, only a small portion of his ear lobe. He had an older brother who died at birth who was also named Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh suffered from depression and shot himself but did not die for two days at the age of 37.
