Bown & Tetley .44 caliber percussion rifle. 43" octagonal heavy barrel. B. E. engraved on top of barrel behind rear sight. Side plate marked Bown & Tetley Warranted Pittsburgh. Wood stock with brass accents. Caliber / Gauge: 44 | Barrel Length: 43" | Serial Number: NSN
Condition: Barrel: Light finish loss with minor oxidation. Bore: Light wear with light oxidation. Side plate: Light finish loss with minor oxidation. Stock: Moderate wear with repair at wrist, brass plate. Crack on left and right sides 3? in front of rear sight. Crack on left side 8.5? from muzzle. Mechanically poor, hammer does not function properly.
