Lot of 3 Pole Arm Heads Including: Tombak, Halberd, and Ankus
1.) Tombak head - 7.5" blade. 23.5" overall with haft and scabbard. Double edge spear tip blade with central ridge to both sides. Haft is made of wood and wrapped with brass that has pressed floral scroll designs. Scabbard is carved and painted wood.
2.) Halberd head - About 10.5" x 6". Halberd head with a hook and crescent shaped blade. Still has small portion of haft fixed in socket. Does not appear to have any markings.
3.) Indo-Persian Ankus - About 14" x 4". Crude pole arm head with simple floral silver koftgari and a steel haft. The ankus was used as an elephant goad, for prodding elephants but also for defense.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
All items are in about fair to good condition with scattered oxidation and scratching.
