Lot of Muzzle Loading Gallery Pistol and a Boxlock Percussion Pistol

1.) .45 Caliber. 7.4" barrel length. SN: NSN. Polished metal finish overall with octagonal twist Damascus barrel set in a carved Walnut stock with lightly engraved triggerguard and pommel cap. Single shot percussion gallery pistol mounting dovetail mounted front blade and rear notch sights. No manufacturer marks visible. The forend features floral carved designs surrounding a sunburst around the mounting screw. Triggerguard and pommel cap display light border scroll enclosing floral scrollwork. Triggerguard is further embellished with a {Pointer} vignette.

2.) .36 Caliber. 4.4" barrel length. SN: NSN. Single shot boxlock turn-off pistol mounting one piece bag-shaped Walnut grips and loops for a cleaning rod below the octagonal barrel. Single shot percussion pistol with no sights featuring an iron triggerguard. Triggerguard is struck HGA, but is otherwise unmarked and comes with a replaced wood ramrod.

Condition
1.) Good. Bore is Dark with patina and oxidation throughout. Damascus pattern to barrel remains visible with the remainder of metalwork showing a gray to brown patina. Hammer shows some pitting with additional brown patina and pitting around breech face. Stock has some handling wear and mars with a split through the wrist that appears to have been repaired with wood glue. Action fails to engage at full cock.2.) Good. Bore is Dark with patina and oxidation throughout in addition to dust and carpet fibers. External metal finish is a mottled gray to brown patina overall with light pitting to all parts. Grips show some rounding at the edges indicative of sanding, with handling wear, mars, scratches, and a chip to left wrist. Trigger fails to reset.
