**WWII German P640(b) Hi-Power Pistol 3rd Variation
World War II
9mm Luger. 4.7" barrel. SN: 3619b. Blued metal finish with rough wartime polish mounting checkered walnut two piece grips and fixed front blade and drift adjustable rear notch sights. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable double stack magazines. Left slide is marked FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE/HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE. Item shows {Eagle/WaA140} waffenamt markings on the left frame, left slide, and on the left barrel. The {WWII German Eagle} stamp appears over the chamber, and beside the waffenamt marks on the slide and frame. Serial numbers match on barrel, slide, and frame. Magazine safety deactivated. Magazine is unmarked.

Condition
Good. Bore is Frosty with patina throughout and crisp rifling. Metal finish shows a mottled brown patina forming overall with some signs of light pitting on the slide flanks and forward frame. Grips show some handling wear and mars with some scratches through the checkering. Magazine displays some light insertion scratches.
