**Russian Model 1895 Nagant Revolver Dated 1917
World War I, World War II
7.62 Nagant. 4.5" barrel. SN: 89566. Arsenal reblued metal finish overall with replaced checkered wood grips and mounting dovetail front blade and fixed rear notch sights. Double action seven-shot loading gate gas seal revolver. Left frame shows the original manufacture markings for the Tula Imperial Arsenal followed by a date marking of 1917. Soviet period boxed cartouche below this mark is indicative of post-WWII refinish prior to being stored. Import mark to barrel reads 1895 RUSSIA 7.62X38R/CAI ST ALB VT.

Condition
Very Good as arsenal refurbished. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some light abrasions to the forward triggerguard. Gripstraps, rear frame, and triggerguard show some pinpoint pitting that has been cleaned and finished over. Grips show light handling mars with oil residues overall. Action shows good timing but release is sluggish, suggesting there is some grease still in the action.
