**cyq-Code Spreewerke P.38 Pistol Import Marked
World War II
9mm. 4.9" barrel. SN: 5622x. Blued metal finish overall mounting horizontally serrated brown Bakelite grips and standard sights. Short recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide is struck with the P.38 model marking followed by cyq manufacturer code indicating it was made by Spreewerk. Item further features the {Eagle/88} Waffenamt marking in two places on the right slide, on the left frame, left barrel, and the right side of the locking lug. {WWII German Eagle} stamp appears on the right slide, left barrel, and left locking lug. Right side of the barrel has been struck Bi followed by {Star} stamp. Item displays matching serial numbers. Magazine is blued and shows jvd maker code of Erste Nordboemische Metallwarenfabrik and {Eagle/WaA 708} waffenamt on the rear face of the magazine. Rear frame is import marked below beavertail with NHM. CO/SACCA/9MM GERMANY.

Condition
Fine. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Item shows some scattered light scratches overall, and some pinpoint patina forming on the front slide. Grips exhibit some light handling mars.
