**ac/42 Code Walther P.38 Pistol
World War II
9mm. 4.9" barrel. SN: 5360g. Blued metal finish overall mounting horizontally serrated brown Bakelite grips and standard sights. Short recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide features the model marking P.38 followed by manufacturer code ac/42, indicating it was manufactured by Walther in 1942. Serial numbers match. Item features the {Eagle/359} waffenamt marking in two places on the right slide, on the left frame, left barrel, and the right side of the locking block. Item further shows the {WWII German Eagle} stamp on the right slide, left barrel, and left side of the locking lug. Magazine is blued and is struck P.38 on the left side above the baseplate. Multicolor tint to the safety lever.

Condition
Good. Bore is dirty with some firing resides that should clean to Bright with crisp rifling. Metal finish shows some flaking on the upper barrel and upper slide with patches of pinpoint pitting on those two areas. Item further shows some edgewear overall and scattered brown patinated spots. Grips exhibit light handling abrasions on the edges.
