**Excellent Iver Johnson Large Frame Top Break Hammerless .38 Revolver
.38 S&W. 3.25" barrel. SN: D9475. Nickel plated finish with blued triggerguard and case colored hammer mounting checkered hardrubber {Owl} logo and Iver Johnson monogram grips with floral embellished edges. DAO hammerless five-shot revolver featuring rear latch notch and front blade sights. Top of the barrel is marked IVER JOHNSON'S ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG MASS. U.S.A. Butt displays two-line patent marks reading PAT. JUNE 16. 16. AUG. 25. 98/SEPT. 16. 04. PATS PENDING.

Condition
Excellent. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Nickel finish displays light drag lines to the cylinder with scattered light scratches. Nickel is flaking off the left forward edge of the front sight. Both the trigger and latch retain much of their case color. Trigger exhibits some scuffs and light scratches on the edges. Grips retain fine details with some dust in checkering. Action shows good timing.
