**Walther PP .32 ACP Pre War Commercial with Rare Nichtrostend Stainless Steel Barrel

.32 ACP. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 107828P. Blued metal finish with polished stainless steel barrel mounting black synthetic WALTHER banner grips. Simple blowback operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item features the {Crown/N} commercial proof on the right barrel at the muzzle, right chamber, and on the right slide. Left barrel is etched with the marking Nichtrostend between two arrows. Left slide struck with the standard markings including WALTHER BANNER followed by Waffenfabrik Walther Zella Mehlis (Thur)/Walther's Patent Cal. 7,65 m/m Mod. PP. Comes with one WALTHER banner marked magazine. Walther offered their Nichtrostend or "Rustproof" stainless steel barrels as a special order option on pre-war PP series handguns. Such barrels are seldom encountered, and often retain fine bores, as does this example.

Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows edgewear overall with flaking and abrasions to the finish, particularly on the slide. Slide further features muzzle wear with brown patina forming in losses and cocking serrations. Further spots of brown patina on the gripstraps. Grips display some light handling wear and abrasions. Magazine exhibits insertion wear and pinpoint patina overall.
