Serial numbers match on the barrel, frame, and cylinder, with both barrel and forward frame stamped U/S below the serial number with a further mark on the cylinder. Top of the barrel shows the standard CAL. 38 marking, a single {Broad Arrow} mark, and a firing proof. Revolver is devoid of import markings or commercial proofs.

Condition
Good as Arsenal Refinished. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some light edgewear overall with much of the black painted finish worn away and only some traces remaining on the flanks of the hammer and in seams. Parkerized finish shows some scuffs and abrasions along the underside of the barrel, and some brown patinated spots on the barrel, trigger, and lower frame. Grips exhibit handling wear, mars, and scratches. Action shows good timing.
