**French Model 1935A Pistol Waffenamt Marked
World War II
7.65mm French Long. 4.25" barrel. SN: B7614A. Black enamel finish overall with Parkerized finish to small parts and mounting checkered black synthetic grips. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left frame is marked with Mle 1935 A marking followed by S.A.C.M. manufacturer mark. A German {Eagle/WaA250} waffenamt marking, indicating it was later inspected by and pressed into German service. A further {WWII German Eagle} stamp appears on the left chamber.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
Good. Bore is dirty with some residues and patina that should clean to Bright with crisp rifling. Enamel finish is flaking on the trigger with scattered scratches and mars overall, and some edgewear. Patina forming on the waffenamt mark to left frame. Hammer is taking on a gray patina with some losses. Grips show some handling wear with residue in the checkering. Magazine exhibits some insertion abrasions.
