**Finnish Captured Imperial Russian Mosin-Nagant Model 1891 Rifle with Metric Marked Rear Sight
7.62x54mmR. 31.5" barrel length. SN: S142123. Blued metal arsenal refinish with polished bolt in a straight wrist Birchwood stock with upper handguard running between the barrel bands, and mounting the Konovalov patter rear ladder and front blade sights. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle featuring protective escutcheons to the sling cuts on the stock. Barrel shank displays the Cyrillic markings for the Imperial Russian Tula arsenal and displays a production date of 1909, along with the {Imperial Russian Eagle} mark to the barrel shank and receiver. Item features a Finnish renumbered barrel with the left side featuring the boxed SA mark indicating it went through Finnish rebuild. Item additionally shows a P and S inspection stamp. Retains the original Russian rear sight with the Arshin markings crossed out on the left side and new metric equivalents applied to the right, typical of Finnish M91 rifles. Serial numbers do not match. Importer mark to barrel reads M91 7.62R RUSSIA/CAI ST. ALB. VT.

Condition
Good as Arsenal Refinished. Bore is Frosty with strong rifling throughout. Metal finish shows edgewear overall along with some nicks and mars to the edges of the metal. Item shows scratches over the length of the barrel, and some abrasions on the receiver. Stock displays handling wear, mars, scratches, and dents overall.
