**DWM Argentine Mauser Model 1909 Rifle

7.63x53mm. 29" barrel length. SN: E6160. Blued metal finish with polished receiver and bolt in a Walnut semi-pistol grip stock with half length upper handguard, sling loops to barrel band and toe. Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by an internal box magazine charged with stripper clips. Item mounts standard adjustable rear leaf notch and inverted-V front blade sights. Receiver is marked with the {Argentinian Seal} with the left receiver additionally marked MAUSER MODELO/ARGENTINO 1909 followed by manufacturer marking DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND/MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN. Serial numbers match on the stock, bolt, receiver, trigger plate, cleaning rod, and rear sight. Rifle shows the Argentinian {Liberty Cap} and {Cross} inspection marks scattered overall. Left barrel is marked with an importer applied caliber mark reading 7.63.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some oil residue to the bolt with traces of gray patina forming on the bolt knob and some light internal cycling mars. Rifle shows pinpoint patina forming over the upper barrel band. Butt shows some scuffs and abrasions. Stock has clean edges with few light dents and mars. Crack forming to the upper edge of the stock to the left of the receiver.
