**Spanish Model 1916 Mauser Rifle
World War II
7x57mm. 21.5" barrel length. SN: T3548. Blued metal finish with polished steel bolt. Walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with handguard. Bolt action rifle with adjustable tangent notch rear sight and blade front sight with ear protector lug. Item features an internal magazine, double side sling loops, bayonet lug forend, and a slotted head cleaning rod. Markings include Spanish Oviedo crest over a 1929 date to receiver.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
Very good, possibly refurbished at some point. Bore is frosty and shows some pitting to rifling. Finish has weak markings and possible blemishes under finish, with some light scratches scattered overall. Wood stock has a rough finish, with some scattered scratches and mars. Wood to metal fit has overlap.
