**1945-Dated Longbranch Enfield No. 4 Mk. I* Rifle
World War II
.303 British. 25" barrel length. SN: 12L9829. Parkerized military finish. Semi pistol grip walnut stock with handguard. Bolt action rifle with a Mk.III adjustable folding rear peep sight and blade front sight with ear protectors. Item features a removable magazine, double sling swivels, bayonet lug muzzle, and a trapdoor buttplate void of contents. Markings include NO.4 MK.I*/LONGBRANCH/1945 to left of receiver, along with a British proof to receiver, and importer marks under muzzle. Includes a khaki web sling.

Condition
Good. Bore is frosty. Finish shows scattered thinning, losses to sharp edges, light scratches, and sprinkled pitting overall. Wood stock also shows scattered scratches and mars.
