**Enfield No. 4 MK I* by Long Branch Dated 1942
.303 British. 26.2" barrel length. SN: 15L1521. Suncorite metal finish overall set in a walnut semi-pistol grip stock with full length upper handguard and mounting two-position aperture rear and front blade sight with protectors. Bolt-action semi-detachable magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Left receiver is marked No4 MK I*/LONG BRANCH/1942. Stock ring marked N {Broad Arrow} 7 above the current serial number and 12946 with the latter number appearing on the bolt handle, which has also been force matched with the current serial number. Stock serial number is matching while the magazine is non marked. Wrist is struck 8/66 followed by C initial and boxed inspection cartouche. British inspection marks scattered over major components. Comes with a post-war gray canvas sling.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some muzzle wear with light edgewear overall, and some light abrasions to the edges. Stock has handling wear, scattered dents and mars.
