**Remington Model 1907/15 Berthier Rifle
World War I
8x50mmR. 31.6" barrel length. SN: NSN. Blued metal finish with polished bolt and buttplate mounting adjustable rear ladder notch and front blade sights set in a straight wrist walnut stock. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with three-shot Mannlicher style en-bloc clips. Left receiver is engraved Remington MLE 1907-15 with the right barrel marked RAC 1907-15 near the receiver. The rifle is otherwise unmarked, and lacks an importer marking, suggesting this rifle was not shipped to France where they were further inspected and then serialized.

Condition
Very Good Plus. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Bolt shows some oil residue with the bolt knob displaying some gray patina forming. Polished parts show some residues with traces of patina forming. Blued finish is strong overall with brown patina forming on the bayonet lug and to the forward edge of the receiver. Rear sight is primarily brown patina overall, as is the sling swivel. Rifle further shows some patina forming on the barrel band. Stock shows some slight rounding at the edges with some scattered light dents.
