**Chinese Hanyang Model 88 Rifle
7.92x57mm. 29" barrel length. SN: 24S42. Blued metal finish with wood straight wrist stock mounting half-length upper handguard and featuring sling loops to the barrel band and toe of the butt. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with Mannlicher pattern en-bloc clips. Receiver is struck with standard {21st Arsenal} markings in Chinese characters above 29-2. Serial numbers do not match. Item comes with a cleaning rod and leather sling. Left stock carved with a triangle within circle insignia.

Condition
Good. Bore is Dark with patina throughout, some pitting, and worn rifling. Metal finish is a deep brown patina overall with light and pinpoint pitting scattered overall. Stock exhibits handling mars, dents, scratches, and scuffs, along with a crack forming to the upper handguard. Sling shows stains, cracking, and abrasions overall.
