**1942-Dated Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1/2(F) FTR Rifle
.303 British. 25" barrel length. SN: Y19952. Black Suncorite finish. Semi pistol grip walnut stock with handguard. Bolt action rifle with an adjustable folding ladder peep rear sight and blade front sight with ear protectors and fluorescent orange paint. Item features a removable magazine, double sling swivels, bayonet lug muzzle, and brass trapdoor buttplate void of contents. Markings include NO4MKI/2 (F)FTR to left of receiver, importer marks and British proofs, as well as a 1942 date.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
Good. Bore is somewhat dark and has residue to rifling. Finish has flaky losses, scratching, and some sprinkled pitting. Wood stock has scattered scratches and mars.
