This scarce and desirable Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 29 five-screw DA revolver with correct period factory lined display case is in overall fine condition displaying approximately 97% bright black blued finish to the gun's parts including the majority of vivid case colors to the target hammer and trigger. The factory combat style checkered hardwood grips are also fine with beautiful grain patterns and silver colored factory insets at the top of each grip panel. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp and the bore/rifling are fine. As mentioned before, the rare factory lined display case is in good condition with some wear to the edges of the case and some scattered fraying of the interior lining confined primarily to the front and rear sight areas. Also included are two factory bore cleaning tools. An opportunity to purchase a great example of this classic revolver/box and suitable for inclusion in any serious private or public collection.
