This S&W Model 40 hammerless, flat latch, grip safety DA revolver is in overall fine to excellent condition displaying approximately 95% black blued finish to the gun's metal parts with a vivid case colored trigger. The factory smooth hardwood two piece grips are very good + to fine with pleasing grain patterns. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp & the bore/rifling are fine.
