German F.E. Heym of Suhl finely engraved single barrel trap shotgun, 12 gauge, 32" Krupp steel Simmons vent rib barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, finely checkered English walnut pistol grip stock, beavertail fore end with Deeley/Edge lever release, checkered blue steel grip cap, extended top tang, fiber optic front sight, clear markings. The shotgun is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 97-98% toning blue finish with light wear at the muzzle, minor scratches and handling marks. The receiver displays muted smoky color case hardening with 90-95% coverage in intricate arabesque engraving with water fowl on two sides. The stock is near excellent with light scratches and modest handling marks with sharp checkering and attractive mineral streaking in the buttstock. The butt ends with a Pachmayr solid rubber recoil pad, providing a 14.25" LOP. The action is crisp, locking up securely. The bore is near excellent, showing little use.
