This antique large frame Marlin Model 1881 lever action rifle is in overall very good + condition displaying a light patinaed receiver with brown patinaed barrel assembly, loading tube and butt plate plus a single trigger, adjustable rear sight with lifter, fixed front sight (missing blade) & misc. small parts/securing screws. The nicely grained hardwood butt stock and forend are good, showing an approximate 1" X 1/4" old loss to the front top end of the right side wrist plus scattered minor nicks, mars & discolorations from handling, carry and storage. The markings are sharp, the action is strong and the bore/rifling are near fine.
