This circa 1941 desirable early Colt "The Woodsman" Model is in overall like new condition displaying approximately 99% bright black blued finish to the gun's parts plus a two tone magazine and Target partridge sights. The finely grained checkered two piece hardwood grips are excellent. The markings are sharp, including a "4" over "VP" in triangle on the left side front leg of the trigger guard and a "49" on the right side front leg of the trigger guard. The action is crisp, the bore/rifling are minty. Accompanied by a factory cardboard box with correct end label, in fair + condition missing the front panel of the lid.
