This beautifully scroll & panel scene engraved E. Remington & Sons SxS Grade 6 Damascus barreled 12 gauge exposed hammers top lever release shotgun is in overall good + to near fine condition displaying a pleasing light gray patina to the engraved receiver/lockplate (which locks up tight), hammers, trigger guard, top barrel release lever & forend securing bolt/base with approximately 97% damascene patterning strikingly visible. The checkered hardwood butt stock and forend are in fine condition showing beautiful grain patterns with the forend tip accented by a dark horn decorative application & both having near complete remaining light oil finish & steel butt plate creating a LOP of 14". The chokes are Improved Cyl/Light Modified; the drop of the comb is 1-3/4"; the drop of the heel is 3-1/4". The engraving, five game panel scenes & markings are sharp, the actions are crisp & the bores are fair + to near good with moderate pitting at the breech ends. (Pre-98/No FFL Required)
