Outstanding A.H. Fox Model J single barrel trap shotgun, 12 gauge, 31.5" vent rib barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, auto ejector, checkered walnut two-piece straight grip stock with beavertail fore end and Deeley/Edge release, ivory bead front sight, clear factory markings with the barrel marked, "CHROMOX FLUID STEEL". Mfg in 1919, the shotgun is in fine overall condition, retaining 94-95% thinning blue finish with light wear at the muzzle, scratches and scattered spots of light surface erosion. The receiver silvered color case hardening with some brighter colors in the protected areas. The receiver displays 60-70% coverage in intricate scroll engraving with an extended lower tang. The stock is in fine condition with minor indentations, scratches and handling marks. The butt ends with a 1" ventilated rubber pad, providing a 14" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bore is very good.
