Winchester Model 88 lever action rifle, .308 Win cal., 22" barrel, blue finish, steel bead ramped blade front and folding rear sights, checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with steel grip cap and sling swivels, Winchester marked 4-round detachable box magazine, clear factory markings with Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver. The rifle is topped with Redfield two-piece bases, rings and an El Paso Weaver V9 variable power rifle scope with an adjustable objective, post and cross hair reticle, providing clear, bright optics. Mfg in 1960, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 94-95% thinning factory finish with wear at the muzzle, scratches and scrapes along the barrel. The receiver and bottom metal show light edge wear and the magazine is drifting to gray patina. The stock is fine with indentations, scratches and small marks. The butt ends with a Winchester marked checkered composite butt plate, providing a 14" LOP. The bore is very good with well-defined rifling and the action functions smoothly.
