This circa 1943 extensively customized Springfield Armory bolt action Model 1903 rifle with a 25" round stainless steel barrel & floor plate plus mounted with an adjustable Redfield 3X-9X Illuminator scope (crisp optics), is in overall fine condition as reworked to a target rifle. It would be noted that the rifle was tested with a .30-06 caliber snap cap and performed mechanically correct. The finely made heavy custom hardwood stock is fine displaying beautiful grain patterns with the majority of its rich oil finish still present & mounted with a Sure Grip hard rubber butt pad creating a LOP of 14-1/8". The markings are sharp, the action is crisp & the bore/rifling are fine.
