Custom Zastava/Interarms Mauser 98 bolt action sporting rifle, .416 Taylor cal., 24" barrel with a banded ivory beaded blade, barrel band swivel, quarter rib with fixed rear sight, blue finish, color case hardened safety and bolt shroud, the receiver is drilled and tapped with two vacant holes, finely checkered deluxe one-piece black walnut stock with an ebony fore end tip, color case hardened Fischer style steel grip cap, beaded cheek piece, crossbolt and sling eyes, clear factory markings. The rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 97-98% blue finish with light scratches and scattered spots of light surface rust. The stock is near excellent with minor handling marks and attractive figure in the butt stock. The butt ends with a solid rubber Decelerator pad, providing a 14" LOP. The bright bore is near excellent and the action is crisp. The .416 Taylor is based on a .458 Winchester Magnum case necked down to .416 caliber. (MODERN / PPT)
