Outstanding W.W. Greener Model FH Facile Princeps SxS Boxlock shotgun, 12 gauge, 30" solid rib barrels, blue and color case hardened finish, finely checkered walnut two-piece straight grip stock, slender fore end with horn tip, Deeley/Edge lever release, Greener side safety, Greener crossbolt safety, extended lower tang, blank round escutcheon plate in the buttstock, brass bead front sight, double triggers, auto-ejectors, clear factory markings with sharp barrel address, "W.W. GREENER , MAKER, 68 HAYMARKET LONDON, WORKS, ST MARY'S SQUARE, BIRMINGHAM." The lot includes a Brady canvas and leather luggage case with red baize interior in very good condition with scuffs and light soiling including a silver tone oiler, jag, snap caps and hardwood cleaning rod. The interior is very good with a reproduction W.W. Greener label in the lid. The shotgun is in fine overall condition retaining 90-95% barrel black with light wear at the muzzles, scratches and handling marks. The receiver displays considerable original smoky gray color case hardened finish drifting to darker patina with 30-40% coverage in fine foliate engraving which has softened with time. The stock is fine with minor indentations, scratches and some flattening of checkering. The butt ends with a black spacer and solid rubber recoil pad with emery paper added, providing a 14.5" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bore are near excellent and would benefit from a thorough cleaning.
