This finely & extensively engraved Francotte self cocking 12 gauge hammer gun with Greener cross bolt safety is in very good to fine condition displaying a bright finish to the receiver, fences, hammers, top strap & triggers plus black blued finish to the barrel release lever, hammer screws, triggers, trigger guard, forend button release/base, forend rear lockup panel & brown finished Damascene pattern to the barrel assembly with gold colored inlays to the rib reading "Damas Crolle Extra Fin Francotte Liege". The beautifully grained hardwood butt stock & forend are fine with the grooved black gutta percha type butt plate creating 14-1/4" LOP. The drop at the comb is 1-1/4" & the drop at the comb is 2-1/4. There is a screw hole at the bottom rear of the butt stock missing the screw. The engraving and markings are sharp, the actions are crisp and the barrel bores show fouling that would benefit from a good cleaning. Accompanied by a later suitcase style, leather cornered/handle/strapped & double locks hard carry case in fine condition with two snap caps & tube of grease.
