Parker Bros. Model CHE Boxlock SxS shotgun, 12 gauge, 32" solid rib barrels, blue and color case hardened finish, checkered walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, beavertail fore end with Deeley/Edge lever release, Parker Bros hard rubber grip cap, blank round escutcheon plate in the butt, ivory bead, single selective trigger, tang safety, auto-ejectors, clear factory markings. The lot includes a leather luggage case with maroon baize interior in very good condition with an extra set of Belgian made 29" solid rib replacement barrels, choked IC/Mod, in fine condition with very good bores. Mfg in 1922, the shotgun is in fine overall condition as refinished, retaining 97-98% finish with light marks and scratches. The receiver displays silvered color case hardened finish with 60-70% coverage in fine scroll engraving and retrievers on three sides. The stock is fine with indentations, scratches and some flattening of checkering. The butt ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13 5/8" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bores are very good. A nice Parker Bros CHE with an extra set of barrels, from the Mark Effle collection.
