Rare Parker Factory 2 BBL set, Model GHE SxS Boxlock shotgun, 20 gauge, 30" vent rib and 32" vent rib barrels, blue and color case hardened finish, checkered walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, both barrel sets have splinter fore ends with Deeley/Edge lever releases, Parker Bros hard rubber grip cap, blank shield escutcheon plate in the buttstock, all-matching visible serial numbers on the frame, barrels and fore ends, brass bead front sights, double triggers, auto-ejectors, clear factory markings. The lot includes a Boyt canvas soft case in good overall condition. Mfg. in 1917, the shotgun is in near fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% toning finish on the barrels with light wear at the muzzles, scratches and handling marks. The receiver shows silvered color case hardened finish with brighter colors in the protected areas. Additionally, the receiver displays 15-20% coverage in light scroll and border engraving with game bird scenes on both sides and the bottom metal. The stock is very good with indentations, compressions and some flattening of the checkering. The buttstock ends with a black spacer and solid rubber Decelerator pad, providing a 14.5" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bores on both barrel sets are very good. A rare factory 2-barrel set with all matching serial numbers. From the Mark Effle collection. (C&R/PPT)
