L.C. Smith SxS Field Grade shotgun, 12 gauge, 30" solid rib barrels with 2.75" chamber, choked Full/Mod, blue and color case hardened finish, checkered wood buttstock, no fore end, missing extractors, ivory bead front sight, double triggers, tang safety, legible factory markings. Mfg in 1919, the shotgun is in poor overall condition, inoperable at the time of description due to the action not functioning. The barrels display considerable thinning blue finish with pin prick pitting, surface erosion and scattered spots of light surface rust evident. The receiver has gone to silvered color case hardening with surface erosion and surface rust on the trigger guard. The buttstock is in poor condition with a partially repaired complete break at the wrist and no fore end. The buttstock ends with two spacers and a thin solid rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.25" LOP. The action is non-functioning with the lever release inoperable. The bores are good and may clean.
