This Remington Model 1885 exposed hammers, damascus barreled SxS shotgun with those barrels reduced to 20", is in very good condition with the majority of the damascene barrel patterns visible; trace areas of case colors to the receiver and hammers with muted blued finish to the triggers, trigger guard & barrel release lever in addition to misc. small parts and securing screws. The checkered hardwood butt stock and forend are fair + with scattered nicks, mars and scratches from handling, carry and storage. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp and the bore is fair with scattered moderate pitting. Additionally, the chokes are CYL/CYL; the extractor is working; the comb is 2.5"; the heel is 3" and the LOP is 14-1/8".
