W.W. Greener 30 Guinea Facile Princeps action SxS shotgun, 12 gauge, 28" & 30" Treble Fast Web marked vent rib best English laminated steel barrels, damascene and color case hardened finish, checkered walnut two-piece Prince of Wales pistol grip stock, splinter fore end (on the 28") with horn tip and Deeley/Edge lever release, checkered side flats, blank oval escutcheon plate in the buttstock, steel bead front sights, double triggers, tang mounted auto-safety with "SAFE" in gold, Greener crossbolt safety, clear factory markings with matching serial numbers on both barrel sets and water table. The lot includes a period leather luggage style case in fair condition showing heavy use and wear on the exterior with the handle and straps missing. The interior is red baize, showing heavy use with soiling and wear, loose partitions and loss of fabric at the corners. The case includes a silver-plated oiler, snap cap, leather wrapped pull-through and wooden container. The lid displays an original W.W. Greener trade label with soiling, wear and a couple minor tears. Additionally, the case contains a set of 30" Treble Fast Web marked solid rib barrels without a fore end. The shotgun is in fine overall condition, retaining considerable thinning damascene finish with losses of finish, scrapes and scratches. The receiver displays muted color case hardened finish, brighter in the protected areas. The receiver shows 20-30% coverage in foliate and border engraving with "W.W. GREENER" banners on both sides. The stock is in fine condition with indentations, scrapes and scratches consistent with field use. The buttstock ends with a checkered horn butt plate with engraved screw heads, providing a 14 1/8" LOP. The shotgun functions well and locks up securely. The bores are good and may clean. W.W.
