Vintage Winchester Model 37 single shot shotgun, .410 gauge, 26" barrel with 3" chamber and Full choke, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece stock, steel bead front sight, clear factory markings with sharp Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver, marked Winchester in red on the underside of the receiver. Mfg from 1936-1963, the shotgun is in very good overall condition, retaining 80-90% thinning factory blue finish with light wear and corrosion at the muzzle. The barrel shows light scratches and scattered spots of corrosion. The receiver retains considerable thinning finish with edge wear and areas of surface erosion. The stock is in fine condition with indentations and minor marks. The butt ends with a checkered plastic Winchester marked butt plate, providing a 14.25" LOP. The action is slightly stiff and locks up securely. The bore is very good.
