19th C. French Vincenti & Cie Gilt Bronze Figural Mantle Clock - An antique gilt bronze mantel
19th C. French Vincenti & Cie Gilt Bronze Figural Mantle Clock - An antique gilt bronze mantel clock. Ornate gilt bronze body with garlands and scroll leaf motifs. The clock is topped with a cast bronze figure of a young girl leaning against a pedestal. White marble dial with gilt Roman numerals. Works marked with Medaile D'Argent Vincenti & Cie mark, B 206, and a clocksmith's inscription from 1977. 20" h x 14 1/8" w x 5 1/4" d. Condition: Some signs of age and use. Loss to Roman numeral "V". The body of the clock has been fitted with white painted metal , possibly replacing the original marble body.
