Antique Shipibo Conibo Peruvian Pottery Pot - A painted terracotta pottery vessel. Made by the female potters of the Shipibo Conibo tribe who live along the Ucayali River in the Amazon rainforest. This coil-made pot features geometric designs in buff, brown and orange. Some areas with a semi-gloss finish. 4" h x 6" w. Provenance: Purchased in the 1970s from a Sarasota store that acquired these pots from John Easterling (2nd husband of Olivia Newton-John). Condition: normal wear commensurate with age and use.
