FABULOUS Chinese panoramic with semi-precious stones inlaid Lapis Lazuli table screen. Finely carved in a circular shaped plaque inlaid with colorful semi-precious stones, carnelian, jadeite, agate, and red coral. Depicting a traditional pavilion within waterside landscape scene, showing bridges, white ruyi clouds, various trees, geese, populace nation, rock, cranes, dog, and deer. Carved gilt calligraphy of themed title poem on the top. Combining the deer and crane, which is also associated with longevity, creates the rebus liuhe, the six harmonies. The six harmonies refer to the four cardinal points of the compass, heaven and earth, and is a concise way of referring to everything on earth under heaven. Combining the deer, crane and pine tree expresses the desire that everything under heaven and throughout the earth remains evergreen, and is a wish for longevity. The carved hardwood stand elaborately displays open work with a multileveled pedestal raised on four shallow legs. The Elaborately carved wooden frame perfectly accentuates this work of art. The lapis lazuli screen is brilliant blue with silver and golden hue inclusion adorned with colorful semi-precious stones is a masterpiece of workmanship.
