Rare polemic regarding the Kollelim in Yerusholayim. New York. Ha'atakah Os B'Os M'Guf Ha'Psak.
Broadside issued by Chassidim of Vizhnitz and Kosov aimed at the administrators of Kollel Galicia, at the time under the control of Kollel Drohobycz. This particular controversy revolved around the distribution of funds collected by Kollel America, which, according to this broadside, were meant to be distributed between the two Kollelim on a 65% 35% basis. The Kollel Vizhnitz administrators maintained, that they were not receiving their due share and summoned the calling the administrators of Kollel Drohobycz to a Din Torah.
Signed by R. Yisroel Hager of Radowitz (1876-1940), R. Elimelech Pohrille of Husyatin and R. Yosef Zweig of Potik (1876-1957), all of whom were New York based Rabbonim with a Kosov/Vizhnitz connection. The broadside also reproduces the original rabbinical decision from 1908 regarding the equitable division of funds between the 2 Kollelim.
