Ca. 1840; Original, 9.1/8" diameter with 6" base diameter, Flare form, beautiful orange lead glaze interior, no visible damage. Descended through Wood Family of Alamance County, NC. Signed examples like this were popular in the 19th Century at church gatherings where the owner would retrieve their dish back. Overall excellent and original condition.
