Louis Jamme (American 1913-1949)I Have To Wear It. My Gal Made It For My Birthday. Ink and gouache on illustration board 25 x 20" Saturday Evening Post Stamp reverse. Losses to corners -Jamme was a prominent cartoonist for The New Yorker, The Saturday Evening Post, Esquire, and Colliers. He attended the California School of Arts and Crafts in Oakland from 1928 to 1931. Published/ Working cartoon with marks toning and scars indicative of use and reproduction.
