Palawan Bamboo Quiver With Two Darts, Circa 1880. Rattan wrapped bamboo body; carved bamboo darts with cork terminations; tree sap to one end of the quiver. Paper tag with red 'David Howard Tribal Arts' sticker. {Approximate dimensions: 18 1/2 inches long.}. Similar examples in "Ten Southeast Asian Tribes from Five Countries" by David Howard, pages, 126, 131, 135. Condition: Overall wear consistent with use, apparent later spacers to secure rattan wrappings.
