“Man with Striped Trousers, Three-Quarter Length Coat, Black Paisley Vest, Holding Hat and Watch” Marshall Field’s Animatronic Christmas Window Display Figure. Chicago: Marshall Field’s, 1982. Victorian-era large painted plaster figure (“Store Interior; Figure VI”) of a dapper gent bare-headed, in a coat, white shirt and pale green ascot, holding his hat and pocket watch. On wooden base with motor and plug. 41 ½” high. Some wear, motor doesn’t work. Near fine. From the collection of the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago.
