FAUST, Tony (1836-1906). Faust’s Own Stein. St. Louis: Circa 1880s. Porcelain beer stein with German cobalt blue onion design, commissioned by Tony Faust’s Oyster House with Anheuser Brewing Company. Internal lithophane of two men, a woman and a dog. Fired on enamel logo on recto. Originally served with Faust Lager Beer. 7 x 4”. Light rusting to metal lid, else very good.
