[ALCOHOL ADVERTISING] Absinthe Premier Fils Sign together with Bass in Bottle Mirror. Both circa 1900. Absinthe: Color stone lithograph 15 ¼ x 11”. Frame (glass): 19 ½ x 24”. European tax stamp lower left; Bass painted mirror:18 ¼ x 22 ½”. Frame has brass plate lion and unicorn emblem flanked by the words, “By Appointment, Brewers to the King”, atop handsome oak frame. Property of Bass. Ratcliff & Cretton Ltd. stenciled lower edge in small type. Property ownership label that seals back of frame is intact but is deteriorating. Light surface dirt on frames. Some scratches on glass over the mirrored/painted glass which is in excellent condition. Overall good condition for both. Not examined out of frame.
