OSPAAAL. Scarce “Black Panther” Pop-Up Card. [Cuba: OSPAAAL, ca. 1970s]. Printed fold-out card with an image of a black panther with a bullet ricocheting off of his face; when opened, a large image of his roaring mouth complete with sharp teeth is revealed. OSPAAAL logo on rear. Closed card 6 ½ x 5”. Minor rubbing, else fine. A rare and unusual artifact. OSPAAAL, the Organization in Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa, and Latin America, was founded in Cuba in 1966.
